Africa may be the only pharmaceutical market where genuinely high growth is still achievable, with the market projected to be worth $40 billion to $65 billion by 2020. But this doesn’t come without challenges.

While demand for critical therapies rises, patient access barriers to care are multi-fold, and navigating the geographic complications to deliver pharmaceuticals to a widely distributed population will demand supply chain solutions that are creative and flexible.

African governments continue to seek ways to sustainably finance healthcare budgets, provide Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and are targeting pharmaceutical investment as a strategic importance to national economic development and growth.

Aiming to discuss these challenges and explore solutions, is a diverse range of pharmaceutical industry stakeholders joining the Africa Pharmaceutical Summit on the 24 and 25 February 2016, at the Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi. Supported by the Kenyan government, this summit will provide you with an opportunity to discuss and share your views with the experts, and equip you with most relevant insight into the African pharmaceutical market.
