Lennie is a Health Economist with a Master’s Degree in Health Economics from the University of Cape Town. She has Over 20 years of experience managing health care related programs through various International Organizations and US Institutions in various African countries. Work program leadership experiences include INGO Leadership and Management, Country Health care Program management, HIV and AIDS Care and Support, Health Systems Management and Strengthening and Healthcare Financing.  Some of which include positions such as:

  • Deputy National Programme Manager/Senior Associate with Abt Associates
  • Associate Country Director for University of Maryland
  • Chief of Party for AIDSRelief with Catholic Relief Services in Nigeria

Technical support to National Ministries of Health, local hospitals, health centers and CBOs  Expert in developing and managing relationships with multiple donors, including USG, EU, GFATM, DANIDA and DFID, Private Corporations etc. Possess outstanding skills in employee and process management including technical leadership; team management and mentoring; program design, monitoring, and evaluation and reporting. Have overseen rapid start-up, scale-up and transition of multiple large, donor-funded programs.
